Tommy Wright replaced Mark Crossley for this weekend's Spireite Player preview ahead of the game against Cheltenham.
Tommy told Player " It will be a tough game Cheltenham are fighting for their lives. The good thig about Cheltenham is that it's usually a good pitch and hopefully we can get our passing game going like we did at Crewe. We were disappointed last weekend against Aldershot we seemed to turn up after winning six on the bounce expecting to turn them over. But Aldershot are a good team and we didn't play with enough tempo especially in the first half. Second half we improved but if you do not defend properly you get punished.
Looking ahead more to the Cheltenham gameTommy added "They are strong side and they played with two experienced strikers in Alsop and Hayles against Hereford and we will have to match that. But I am confident we have the players available who can get a result. Wade Small trained all week and was sharp in the reserve game against Barnsley. Jacks improving but he's still a week or two away. We have lost Frankie Artus and Dominic Green from the squad so we are looking to improve the squad if we can."
