John Sheridan spoke to Spireites player after seeing his side grab three points in stoppage time against Accrington Stanley. John was full of praise for goal scorer Wade Small

John told player" Wade came through a late fitness but credit to him he wanted play, he's not trained since Wednesday nights game so I am pleased for him that he got the winning goal. I thought Wade was a threat all afternoon.  But we showed a lot of character to keep going and they were very hard working and very stubborn and when we missed the penalty with two minutes to go you have to think its not going to be your day."

John then talked about a further addition to his squad which seems likely to happen on Monday and he continued

"Hopefully we will be making another loan signing on Monday its 90-95% certain. The player who should be coming in is a defender and he's got a lot of pace about him and he will give me options and make us a stronger squad and he should be available for Tuesday night's game against Huddersfield."
