"We're at home and we've got to win as our home form is going to be vital, just to try to get closer to the playoffs.

"Accrington should have beaten Port Vale the other night, we've had them watched and John Colemans side will make it very difficult for us, they know this division and the will to win is very very good.

"One or two have knocks from Wednesday night but they will be ok and we have a strong squad. Drew Talbot is available again. We get fitness from matches and we take things a little easier with regards to training after midweek games but we make sure everyone is ready for the Saturday. Wade Small took a few knocks but he'll be ok.

"David Perkins has joined the squad and I'm very pleased to get him he did very well at Rochdale and he left for decent money to Colchester he'll be a very good addition to us, he plays left side and I'm pleased because he wanted to come. He's a very good player and I was hoping he was available and he's very tenacious and gives us balance
