John Sheridan looked ahead on Spireites Player to Wednesday nights game against big spending and early pace setters Notts County John told Player

"Wednesday night will be a good test for us they are scoring goals and are top of the league. But I feel we can go and win the game. Obviously they have some backing and are bringing in some quality players but I am not too worried about them.

We are at home have to take the game them and make it tough for them. We took the game to Northampton in the first half and we have to get them on the back foot and cause them lots of problems. Everyone apart from Aaron Downes is available so I have a few hard decisions to make to put out a team to try and win the game because we want another good result.

I am pleased with the consistency of performance we are showing. Though I actually thought we played better at Torquay then we did overall on Saturday and we lost that game 2-0. Which shows you have to score goals to win football matches."
