Spireites boss John Sheridan was in a reflective mood on Spireites World after seeing his side go down by two goals to nil against Championship Sheffield United .
John said "They are a strong outfit and have some excellent players and they made it difficult for us. The main thing is that it's another game under our belt fitness wise and every ones come through it without injury."
John continued "I don't like losing but we will learn from it and we worked hard and we will be stronger and hopefully wiser for the next game. We will be stepping up the training in the next week we will be preparing and spending time on defending and attacking set plays. When you look at the goals we have conceded they are soft goals but we haven't really worked on that side of the game as yet. Every manager defends differently some like marking men other space I don't like tinkering to much with formations it will either be 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 but we will be ready for the most important game of the season. Of course we will be missing Jack through suspension for the first game but I hope that with the quality of the players I want to bring in it will help the team and squad to be ready."
