Lee Richardson spoke to Spireites World after seeing his side pick up a fifth successive draw and Lee said
"It was always going to be a tough game and probably we would have settled for a point if we had beaten Darlington. But credit to the players for their defending especially in a twenty minute spell where we lost it after making a substitution that didn't add to us, and we went on the back foot. But we got through it and could have snatched it at the end."
Lee then went on to praise midfielders Jamie Lowry, Derek Niven and Alan Goodall and he continued
I thought Lowry and Niven were awesome and Alan Goodall came on and did exceptional well for us. I thought we were the better team in the first half but the positive is that we are still in the play off's with three games to go.
Lee then looked forward briefly to Saturdays Saltergate game against Gillingham
"We have to regroup and the players will have some rest. Danny Hall limped off with a tight calf so hopefully he will be okay. We will have to see how Lloyd Kerry is but we should have Drew Talbot back."
