Lee: It's all about us now

Spireites manager Lee Richardson and leading scorer Jack Lester both spoke to Spireites World ahead of Saturday's game against Darlington. Lee began by talking about a crucial weekend for the Spireites

"It's a big weekend and we are in amongst it and are hoping to get a good haul of points over the weekend. Six points would be fantastic though having said that two points wouldn't be a disaster. The only thing you can really concentrate on so if we can beat Darlington that would take some pressure off the Monday game."

Moving on to the game itself Lee continued with the team news and his thoughts on Darlington

"We will have to make a late decision on Drew Talbot. Lewis Montrose's scan results and thankfully the damage isn't as severe as we feared. He's got some bone bruising and some medial ligament damage and he may be back before the end of the season with a bit of luck.

Darlington have had the big disappointment of going into administration and he last minute defeat on Tuesday leaves them with a big ask. They have had some good results and they are no mugs and but for the points deduction they would be right in there. So we will have to be at our best to have any chance of getting what we need from the game. It's all about us now some results may go our way and others won't elsewhere. So all we can do is concentrate on our own performances and on our results and hope we get enough points to ensure we are in the play off's at least."
