"We were shell shocked there was no other way to describe it. There was no way  we should have been 3-0 down against a competent Bury side. They put us under pressure by simply putting the ball into our final third and we didn't deal with it at all. Credit to Bury for putting us under pressure but we failed to win the first and second ball.  Most people will pick up on the soft goals and the two centre halves will come under scrutiny. They were simply on the front foot and they put us under pressure and they created chances which they took. It took the half time chat to get us to put them under pressure in their final third and we got a goal early which finally gave us a foothold in the game."

On Jack Lester's injury Lee revealed that Jack picked up a thigh muscle strain and could now be out for up to three weeks.

"Jack felt something in the warm up and it was clear after ten minutes that he wouldn't be able to continue. Losing our main striker threat gave them a lift and everyone is then on a downer, especially after the second goal. To concede a third five minutes before half time was disappointing. To come in two down you still have a chance to get something but with three you are almost wiped out.  So we have a lot to talk about over the next few days and we are not happy because certain things have reared their ugly head again.

He also went on to say why young striker Scott Boden didn't come on to replace Jack Lester and he hopes to bring in a new striker and added

"Scott's a young lad the same age as Ben Algar, Dan Whatsize, and Dan Gray who we have given an opportunity but he lacks experience.  It was more a question I thought of keeping us in the game with experience. That back fired but I don't think Scott Boden was the answer today as we were 1-0 down and under pressure. The fact was we didn't start properly or get a grip on the game until the second half.  I hope after talking to the Chairman he will make funds available to bring in a striker but every club is on the lookout as well and the type of experienced strikers who are out there who can make an impact and push both Jack and Jamie usually want too much money.
