ON THE MEND

We're all in need of some good news this weekend after the gut wrenching result against Leyton Orient and it comes in the form that two of our injured stars, Jamie Ward and Alan O'Hare, are both training after their injuries.

Striker Ward had a hamstring problem three weeks ago just after scoring against Port Vale. He's still three weeks away from being able to operate at 100% but is now running, in straight lines only at this stage, and his recovery will begin to speed up now that's the case.

Alan O'Hare broke his ankle just over three months ago and he had an exhausting week last week, "It's been the longest week of my life," said the Irish defender, "I was in every day this week doing hard physical work all day every day, the lads who are fit don't know how lucky they are."

He'll be back doing ball work this week and he hopes to be playing training matches before long and full scale matches before much longer.

Good luck boys, we need every hand on deck!
