Chesterfield defender Alex Bailey misses the local derby against Rotherham United due to a slight groin strain picked up in the midweek reserve game against Sheffield United.
He is being kept out of this weekend's game as a precaution in view of the number of games coming up for the Spireites.
Meanwhile, central defender Steve Blatherwick is to see a specialist next week about his ongoing back problem.

Blather going quackers
Chesterfield's longest serving player, who is 33 years old later this month, is seeking advice to ascertain the options that may be available to him, including the possibility of an operation.
Steve Blatherwick hasn't started a game for the Spireites since last March but looked to be on his way back during pre-season training before breaking down again with this latest injury.
Two players on their way back are Shane Nicholson and Gareth Davies.

Shinner had a full ninety minutes in the midweek reserve game against Sheffield United and Gazzer had his first 40 minutes of football since last April following some intensive work at Lilleshall during the summer months.
