THE TREATMENT ROOM

Posted on: Sat 12 Aug 2006

Jamie HewittThe treatment room has been a very busy place over pre-season and leading up to the first  two games, but at the time of writing (before the game against Carlisle) the hard work put in by all the injured players in their rehab program seems to be paying dividends.

Adam Smith and Alex Bailey have both returned to training with the first team squad this week and have both progressed well with no reactions to their respective injuries. Both Adam and Alex are working hard to regain their full fitness after missing so much of the pre-season program.

Shane Nicholson who has been sidelined with a knee injury has also made good progress and has been in full training with the rest of the squad this week with no reaction to his initial injury.

Gaz Davies has spent all summer training most weeks at Lilleshaw in a bid to get fully fit after a hip problem which caused him trouble last season.

It has been a long road for Gaz but now we can see some light at the end of the tunnel and his rehab has gone well hopefully in a couple of weeks Gaz will be taking part in some of the training with the rest of the squad.
