Jamie Hewitt - physioAs you all know the treatment room has been a busy place recently but there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel where most of the injuries are concerned.

Firstly we will start with Shane Nicholson who's rehab had been coming along very well.  There was just one point that kept niggling away so Shane was sent for an MRI Scan to try to determine the cause of the pain.  When the results came back they were inclusive so when this was discussed with the specialist the only course of action was an arthroscopy to find out what was causing the trouble.  This revealed that there was a cyst on the knee.  Shane had an operation 10 days ago and is well into his rehab now with everything going well.

Steve Blatherwick who was forced off in the game against Scunthorpe had a recurrence of his back trouble, at the time of writing this is still quite sore but we are getting some improvement each day.  Steve is due to see the specialist this week in a bid to speed up the process.

Barry Roche has continued to make good process with his thigh injury.  Barry is now in the final stages of his rehab and has been training with the rest of the first team squad.  Finally some good news for Reuben Hazell who had suffered a broken bone in his foot.  Reuben saw the specialist last week and had an x-ray to see how the foot was doing.  The result was very encouraging with the fracture well on the way to healing and Reuben was given the all clear to start building up to full training.
