2 Alex Bailey Chesterfield defender Alex Bailey got some good news from the specialist this week.

After having his knee immobilised in a pot for three weeks, he has now had a scan and given the all-clear to resume light training. 

 

He is expected to get back into full training with the first-team squad in around 10 days time.Aaron Downes

 

Things are also looking brighter for another defender, Aaron Downes. 

 

He could resume full training with the first-teram squad as early as next week.

 

Janos KovacsMeanwhile, a setback for central defender Janos Kovacs who had only recently resumed training following a knee injury. 

 

The young Hungarian had to be substituted during this week's reserve game at Derby County due to illness.  It is thought he has picked up a 48 hour bug.
