Not a lot has happened in the treatment room over the last couple of weeks. The two main injuries are both knee injuries.
Firstly Carl Muggleton who played in a reserve game last week started to get pain in his knee and as the game progressed the pain in his knee increased. Carl was withdrawn from the game and as his knee was quite swollen we gave it some time to settle down. The decision was then taken to send Carl to a specialist earlier in the week and he has been admitted for an Arthroscopy over the weekend. After this we will know the full extent of his injury

.
The other player Mark DeBolla also has been having trouble with his knee for a couple of weeks. This was not too bad at first but has been niggling on and getting a little worse as time went on. Mark also saw the specialist and it is thought that he has a slight Meniscus tear, this will also be operated on over the weekend with both players leaving hospital this after the operations all being well.
The rehab for these injuries should not be to long and will continue over the summer months working mostly on fitness.
