MUGGLETON AND DEBOLLA FOR THE CHOP

Chesterfield goalkeeper Carl Muggleton and Spireites striker Mark DeBolla are both going under the surgeons knife this weekend.

On the advice of a specialist they are having cartilage operations this Saturday on their troublesome knees, which will ensure they miss the remaining four games of the season.

Carl Muggleton has been nursing a sore knee for nearly half a season, whilst Mark DeBolla was injured during training just two weeks ago.

Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland said:  "It is important that they have the cartilage operations now so they have the maximum amount of time to recover before the start of next season."
