Having had no midweek game for two weeks it has allowed us to do some extra work with the squad, especially the injured players.

Alan O'Hare has now fully recovered from his ankle injury which he sustained in the warm up at Hartlepool and was fit enough to take a place on the bench at Sheffield Wednesday and pleasingly played a small part in the game.

Derek Niven who was taken off at half - time in the match against Doncaster has again injured his ankle the same as he did earlier in the season and once again it was a tackle from behind the opponent wrapping his legs around Derek. He managed to play on till half - time but not to risk any further damage he was replaced. The injury was not as bad as last time and at the time of writing these notes he should be fit for Saturday's match.

As for the three longer term injuries Mark Hudson has had an MRI Scan on his troublesome Adductor injury. This revealed a tear in the Adductor Longus Muscle and Mark is now making good progress and running and joining in some football within his rehab.

Mark Innes who has a troublesome thigh and groin is making some progress and is fine in the running stage of his rehab. If all goes well Mark's training will be upgraded next week.
