TREATMENT ROOM

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

As we near the end of the pre-season training the Treatment Room has not been too busy.  Stuart Howson is having some bad luck lately.  After a full recovery and some hard work through the summer Stuart came back from his fractured ankle looking fit and ready to go for the new season, but only four days into pre-season he twisted on his left knee and has subsequently had to have surgery.  The operation went fine and Stuart's re-hab is going well.

We also have Mark Innes who has had some hamstring trouble, to get to the bottom of this Mark was sent to the re-hab centre at Lilleshall and is making good progress.  It is hoped that he will soon be back in full training.

Chris Brandon has now made a good recovery from his hamstring trouble and is back in full training and into some of the pre season friendlies.

As I am writing these notes the players are building up to the first game of the season at Wrexham, I hope that everyone comes through that game with no injury worries and of course three points.

Finally I would like to wish the players all the best for the season and no injury problems would be a bonus.  I also hope that you all enjoy the coming season.
