Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

Starting with the long-term injuries, Steve Payne has now upped his rehab and is now into long distance running and some power straight line running along with his ankle excersises. Steve is making good progress and it is hoped he will do some training with the first team squad sometime next week.

Carl Muggleton has had another x - ray to see how his fracture is progressing. The news this time was slightly better than before as the fracture looks a lot stronger than it did three weeks ago. Carl has been given the ok to resume some light training as his injury is not fully healed, it is hoped there are no more complications and he should be back in full training in about two to three weeks.

Stuart Howson sustained a thigh strain in the match against Port Vale and he is receiving treatment at the moment along with some rehab work.

The good news is that Kevin Dawson has resumed full training with the first team after his hernia operation, everything has gone well and Kev is getting fitter all the time.

Jon Howard played a full game in the reserves last week at Blackpool and is due for a run out against Wigan in the reserves as is Mark Innes after his knee injury, lets hope everything goes well for these two who have been out for quite a time.
