What a difference a few weeks makes in football, the treatment room is now the busiest it has been all season.

The four long - term injuries have been joined by four more, three having been injured in our match against Cheltenham last week.

Of the longer term injured Jon Howard has had an x - ray on his troublesome ankle. The good news was the fracture has now healed although Jon has been getting some pain on the inside of his ankle but this should soon settle down in time and he should make a full recovery.

Carl Muggleton also had a follow up x - ray this showed that the fracture at the bottom of his fibula has now healed but the fracture at the top has partially healed and it should take at least another three weeks before it is completely healed.

Kevin Dawson underwent a hernia operation on Monday the 20th January, if all goes well with his rehab he should be back in training after four to six weeks.

Mark Innes is now progressing very well from his knee injury. Mark is about a couple of weeks away from joining into full training.

Of the four new injuries Stuart Howson is progressing well and will be stepping up his rehab.

Marcus Ebdon suffered a kick to the back of his calf in the Cheltenham game and will have received treatment all week in a bid to get him fit for Sunday.

Steve Payne was one of two players carried off at Cheltenham; Steve went over on his ankle and will be absent this week. Steve who suffered a bad clash to his face was taken to hospital with a broken nose it should not be long before we see Steve back in action.
