INJURY TIME

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

As we move into the busy month of December it is important to have as many fit players as possible.

The good news from the treatment room is that Rob Edwards and Steve Blatherwick have both played first team games and have come through with no ill effects to their respective injuries, lets hope that they both now have an injury free run.

Marcus Ebdon who recovered from his shin injury to play 90 minutes in the reserves last week and was all set to play some part in the game against Morecambe but in the Friday morning training session he sustained a hamstring strain which has kept him out of the last two games. Marcus' training has now been stepped up and he is making good progress, hopefully it will not be long before he can resume training with the 1st team.

The only other two injuries are Mark Innes who is still out with a medial ligament strain, mark is now walking without the aid of crutches.  This will be a slow process for Mark.  Keith Rowland who has a bruised ankle is making good progress and is not far away from full fitness.
