Jamie Lowry spoke to Spireites Player after signing a new one year contract with the Spireites
Jamie told Player "I am really pleased to have signed for another year and that the club stuck by me through my injury Hopefully I can get back fit and into full training soon and pay that loyalty back and score some goals like I did last season.
Jamie briefly spoke about his summer and then his hopes for a return before 2011 and he added "I have spent most of the summer at Lilleshall and I am hoping that I can build on the progress. I have a series of exercises to build my knee up and make it stronger and more flexible. I did manage to go home to Newquay but I was still doing exercises but it was nice to be doing it in the sunshine and to be with my family.
"But it's good to be back with the lads now. Though I do feel a bit of the odd one out, but I have Aaron Downes with me on a similar programme, and he's a little ahead of me. Realistically I have been told I should be back around Christmas time and anything ahead of December would be a real bonus. The main thing though is that don't pick up any further injuries which would set that back."
