The Spireites have been hit by a spate of injuries to key players ahead of the trip to promotion chasing Hereford United this weekend.

Definitely ruled out are 25 goal leading scorer Jack Lester (ankle), Derek Niven (toe), Gregor Robertson (hip muscle), Adam Smith (knee), and also doubtful is Peter Leven (knee).

Despite the setback Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson remains upbeat.  He said: "This is all part of football and you just have to get on with it."

Apart from Adam Smith, the injuries were picked up in the midweek game at home to Peterborough United.
