The Spireites, like most clubs, have supporters all over the world and many of them tune in, every game, to Spireites World to keep up to date with the team's progress.

Howard Borrell caught up recently with Spireite Michael Duffin who, just a few months ago, decided to relocate to Cyprus.

Michael explained "It's a bit different to North Wingfield but being able to keep up to date with my football team is very important. I'm settling in nicely here and Spireites World has added to the comfort factor. It really is appreciated by all of us exiles wherever we live".

Howard and Michael (the one with the replica shirt)  recently took in the Ethnikos Achna v Apoel fixture (with some other locally based ex-pats) in the Cypriot First Division and witnessed a 2-0 win to the away team as Nicosia based Apoel consolidated second place in the league.
