Tickets for former Spireites favourite Steve Blatherwick's, Testimonial Dinner at the newly re-furbished Sheffield Park Hotel on November 1st, are now on sale.
The guest of honour and after dinner speaker will be England 1966 World Cup winner and Manchester United legend, Nobby Stiles MBE. Nobby will entertain guests with recollections and anecdotes from his illustrious career as one half of the after dinner entertainment. The second part will be provided by Nobby's son, John Stiles, who is a renowned comedian.
As well as a top quality 3 course meal and after dinner entertainment, there will be an auction of special sporting memorabilia which will raise money for Steve's favourite charity the NSPCC.
Steve's brother and testimonial Chairman, Michael Blatherwick, commented, "We are hoping to make it a great night out for Steve and I hope Chesterfield fans and businesses will be supportive. It's a great opportunity for local businesses to wine and dine their customers and staff, be entertained by one of England's sporting greats and support a good cause."
