Remember when Dutch fans Vincent and Truus Stokhuijzen came over to Saltergate for the Port Vale match recently? Vincent was so impressed with the treatment he received, he was given a tour of the ground by Phil Tooley, met Lee Richardson, Jim Brown, Barry Roche, Colin Larkin, Adam Smith, Reuben Wiggins-Thomas amongst others after Office Manager Sue Green offered them the opportunities to see behind the scenes, that he wrote a three page article for the Sparta Rotterdam programme and we reproduce it below (mind you it's all Double Dutch to us!).

In the Saltergate Club, they chatted with supporter Andy Lobb and found out lots about our Club and they even got a couple of mentions from Howard Borrell on the tannoy, who many years ago used to be ex Spireite and Sparta Rotterdam player Stuart Parker's landlord!

It's great to see that they felt it was worth committing their experiences to print, hopefully we'll see plenty more Rotterdam residents here in the coming years! Unfortunately Sparta lost the game the programme accompanied, 0-4 to NEC Nijmegen.
