There is now a unique opportunity to own a special item of heritage memorabilia from the Saltergate boardroom

Coming on to the market for immediate sale is the old Chesterfield FC boardroom table, nine boardroom chairs, and a wooden sideboard.

These items of furniture were supplied by White's Furnishers of Corporation Street, Chesterfield in 1936 for the opening of the new stand at the Recreation Ground.

CFC director of marketing Alan Stevenson said: "The boardroom furniture has been there since the stand was built in 1936 and, despite several attempts over the years, it has never been possible to get it out,"

He added; "That is until now, and that's only because we will be able to get it out when the main stand is demolished."

The boardroom furniture can be sold together, but is being offered as separate items.

The wooden leather upholstered boardroom chairs are each priced at £100 plus VAT.

Offers are being taken for the boardroom table (10ft x 4ft) with leather inlay, and the engraved sideboard.
