New goalkeeping course for youngsters

Chesterfield Football Club has a history of great keepers that have graced the pitch at Saltergate over the years and local youngsters are now getting the chance to follow in their footsteps

The Chesterfield FC Community Trust is organising a goalkeeping school so any youngster aspiring to be a goalkeeper will get a unique opportunity to play on the pitch at Saltergate, just like World Cup hero Gordon Banks, our own Jim Brown, Alan Stevenson, and many more.

Four weekly sessions will be held starting on Saturday 24th July, from 9.30am to 11.00am, and costs just £5 per session.  Anyone wanting to improve their goalkeeping skills and also to mark an end of an era at Saltergate should book early as places are limited.

 

Throughout the summer holidays there are also 3 day Soccer Camps with a World Cup theme, Holiday Fun Club, and the Saturday Morning Club, all sponsored by Addooco IT Services and all taking place at Saltergate.
