This is just one of over 1,000 events that are taking place across the country between the 16 - 28 October during the Kick It Out weeks of action.  All 92 professional clubs, as well as conference and non- league clubs will also hold activities to support the initiative, not to mention scores of schools, universities and community and youth centres, all of whom are also getting involved.

Chesterfield captain Rob Page said: "All the players fully support football's Kick It Out anti-racism campaign and our message is 'Spireites are against Racism'.

The Spireites customer charter pledge is to make Saltergate a welcoming place for all fans regardless of colour of skin, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or culture.  Any supporters who are caught racially abusing players or other fans will face arrest and prosecution.

The club asks for anyone who hears any abuse of this nature to report it.

The club is working in partnership with the Chesterfield Muslim Association by holding a ground tour for members of the Muslim community and also giving a number of free tickets to members of the Muslim community to attend today's game.

The Community Department is also delivering a six week coaching project to both the Muslim and also the wider local Community, celebrating diversity and inclusion.
