FIVE DEALS DONE
Confirmation that five players have now signed up to the new deals they agreed last week.
They are experienced striker Wayne Allison and Chesterfield's current longest serving player, central defender Steve Blatherwick, who have both signed new one-year deals, which will keep him at Saltergate until June 2007.
Three of the younger players - midfielder Derek Niven, defender Gareth Davies and striker Adam Smith have also put pen to paper on two year deals, which will keep them at Saltergate until June 2008.
