Pirates extend Downes loan

Spireites Aussie defender Aaron Downes is staying at Bristol Rovers after both clubs agree to extend his loan deal until the end of the season.

The 26 year old initially joined The Pirates on one month's emergency loan from 2 January but after putting in some impressive performances for the League Two club all parties agreed to the loan extension.
