Gritton loaned to Torquay

Confirmation that Chesterfield striker Martin Gritton has joined Torquay United on six months loan until January 2011.

He was recently given permission to play in a number of pre-season friendlies for the Gulls pending the loan move.

The 32 year old is a popular figure at Plainmoor having scored 26 goals in 103 appearances for his former club in 2002-04.
