Chesterfield defender Gregor Robertson has signed a new one year contract until June 2011.
He has thanked the club for standing by him as he recovers from a broken leg sustained last November in the Johnstones Paint Trophy game at home to Carlisle United.
He is pictured signing his contract with CFC finance director Alan Walters.
He said: "This is the worst injury of my career and I appreciate the support shown by the club.
He added: "Although it has been a long haul to fully recover I hope to be able to get into some light training in time for the start of pre-season and am really looking forward to moving to the club's new stadium."
Gregor Robetson made 14 appearances at the start of the season before injury ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, an update on two other players offered new contracts by the Spireites reveals that midfielder Jamie Lowry is poised to sign a new deal on his return from holiday, and a response to the offer of a new contract is still awaited from forward Wade Small.
Exclusive interview with Gregor Robertson coming soon on Spireites World
