Chesterfield chairman Barrie Hubbard is calling on local folk to keep the carnival atmosphere going when the club moves to the b2net stadium next season by becoming regulars.
Fans and club officials have likened the carnival atmosphere around the town for Saltergate's last ever game against Bournemouth last weekend as similar to the famous FA Cup run in 1996-97.
Over 1,000 fans paraded through the town after a nostalgia-fest at the Pomegranate Theatre and joined a sell-out crowd as family and friends of all ages made one last pilgrimage to the Recreation Ground.

CFC chairman Barrie Hubbard said: "It was a day we will all cherish and a big reminder how good Chesterfield supporters can be when we all get together for a big occasion.".
He added: "I invite everyone to help keep the carnival atmosphere going by buying a season ticket for next season at the b2net stadium so we have a big noisy fan base which can turn our new home into a formidable place for visiting teams."

Season tickets for the b2net stadium are currently on sale with over 2,000 already sold.
The deadline for early bird discounts is 5.00pm this Friday 14 May.
