Chesterfield FC has installed a new state-of-the-art telephone system from Monday 22 March 2010 which should help improve customer service for supporters. The existing telephone number is not changing and remains 01246 209765.
With the new system all departments of the club can be contacted direct, even individual members of staff can be accessed via new telephone extension numbers, which will be issued in due course to interested parties by the individuals concerned.
The club is advising that supporters contacting the club via telephone should listen carefully to a new menu of options, which give callers the chance to contact direct the department they want instead of going through the switchboard. For the first time it will also be possible for messages to be left on an individual's voicemail.
The system has been installed over the weekend whilst the club offices were closed, and staff training on how to use the system to best effect will be taking place over the next couple of days. This will give time to iron out any potential glitches and enable all the facilities of the new system to become fully operational.
The menu options which are now available are:-
Ring a specific extension number if known, otherwise
Option 1 Community Trust
Option 2 Conference and Banqueting
Option 3 Ticketing (season tickets and matchday tickets)
Option 4 Club Shop
Option 5 Events and Matchday Information
Option 6 Commercial and Blues on the Move
Option 7 Accounts
Option 8 Youth Development
Option 9 To hear the options again.
The new system being installed by Addooco It Services will, when fully up and running, help provide a seamless transition when the football club moves from Saltergate to the new b2net stadium later this year.
