Posted on: Mon 22 Mar 2010

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has been banned from the touchline for the Spireites next two games after being found guilty of misconduct and a breach of FA Rule E3 by the FA following an incident during the recent highly-charged game at Meadow Lane against Notts County.

The match referee Keith Stroud from Hampshire sent the Spireites boss to the stands during the game for things that were said within the hearing of the referee and the fourth official.

He has also been fined £500.

The touchline ban will cover the away game at Burton Albion and the home game against Hereford United.
