Spireites sign Simon Whaley

Former Bury, Preston North End and Norwich City midfielder Simon Whaley has joined Chesterfield until the end of the season.

The 24 year old, who is a free agent since leaving Norwich City in the January transfer window, has been on loan at Rochdale and Bradford City earlier in the season.

He goes straight into the squad for the Spireites game away at Darlington this weekend.

 

His squad number will be No 32.
