Carlilsle United forward Gary Madine is joining the Spireites on one month's loan until 13 March 2010. 

The 19 year old, has made over 40 appearances for the Cumbrians and has been on loan at Rochdale and Coventry City. 

The paperwork is expected to be completed Friday to enable the player to go straight in to the squad for this Saturday's home game against Bury.

The signing will help alleviate the situation following the news that forward Jack Lester is having a knee operation and is due to be out for several weeks.
