Former Fulham and Wycombe Wanderers defender T J Moncur has joined Chesterfield on a non-contract basis until the end of the season.

The 22 year, who can play both right back and centre back, was a product of the Fulham Academy and had two loan spells with Bradford City before joining Wycombe Wanderers last season.

He left the Chairboys in October 2009 following the departure of manager Peter Taylor and has since been a free agent. 

TJ was at Fulham the same time as the Spireites player coach and former Fulham goalkeeper Mark Crossley.

He has squad number 31.
