Colchester United midfielder David Perkins is set to sign for the Spireites on an emergency one month loan.
27 year old David Perkins started his career with Morecambe, for whom he played 170 league games. In 2007, he moved to League Two side Rochdale. David then missed out on the Play Off final with Rochdale against Stockport County through suspension. Later that summer Chris signed for Colchester United for an undisclosed six figure fee and was a regular in the U's starting line up last season and scored for the U's in the 7-1 away win at Norwich.
Manager John Sheridan says "He's a player I was hoping was available and he gives us that balance and he's a pleasing addition to our side and he wants to come here and that's important."
