Chesterfield striker Jack Lester has committed his future to the Spireites by agreeing a further one year's extension on his existing three year contract, which had one more year to run.

It means that Chesterfield's leading goalscorer will now be staying with the Spireites until June 2011.

 

Jack Lester said: "I am really pleased as this contract extension means I can look forward to being part of the exciting new future being lined up for the Spireites, including the move to the new stadium."

 

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan said: "I am delighted that by extending his contract Jack is now part of our longer-term plans for Chesterfield Football Club.
