Management team sign on

Chesterfield's new management team are now all in place after signing three year contracts with the Spireites.

New chief John Sheridan was joined at Saltergate by assistant manager Tommy Wright (left) and new player coach Mark Crossley (right) for the formalities led by the Chesterfield chairman Barrie Hubbard.

 

Tommy Wright said: "We are all excited about coming to Chesterfield because this is a club that's going somewhere and we're itching to get started."

 

Meanwhile, Mark Crossley said: "I started my football here at Saltergate a long time ago as a 15 year old and now after a really enjoyable career I am looking forward to helping kick start a new era in what will be the very last season at the old ground."
