Two of Chesterfield's out-of-contract players have agreed new deals.

Midfielder Derek Niven has agreed a new two year deal that will see the 25 year old staying with the Spireites until June 2011.

Last season he successfully battled and recovered from testicular cancer and ended winning the goal of the season award for his stunning winning striker against Grimsby Town

Central defender Danny Hall has agreed a new one year deal until June 2010.

Meanwhile, defender Gregor Robertson, who has also been offered a new deal, has until the end of June to indicate his intentions.
