It is with great sadness that Chesterfield FC learnt of the death of the former Spireites Centre of Excellence manager Neville Hamilton.
Neville, who was 48, sadly passed away on Monday morning.
He joined Chesterfield in 2003 following the departure of Jon Pepper to Bradford City and was previously with Leicester City's Youth Academy but was made redundant when the Foxes went into Administration.
He had a heart condition after recovering from a heart attack in 1984 when at Wolverhampton Wanderers and although having to medically retire from playing football he went to have successful career as a popular coach.
After working for over a year with youth team manager Dave Bentley, Neville left Chesterfield in 2004 to move nearer his home in Leicester by joining newly promoted Rushden & Diamonds FC.
More recently he was working for the Football Association.
Neville leaves a wife and two children.
Chesterfield FC would like to pass on their condolences to Neville's family and friends at this sad time.
