There was an incident on the Karen Child Kop during the game against Morecambe this Saturday 24 January 2009 when a supporter was allegedly assaulted.

A person suspected of the alleged assault was arrested by the Police and this incident is now a police matter.

As the matter is now sub judice the club will not be making any further comment until the Police investigation has taken its full course.
