Current Directors Mike Warner and Phil Taylor were both unanimously re-elected for a further term on the clubs board.

The proposal to issue a accounts summary to shareholders in future years was passed with the clear understanding that full set of accounts will be available to shareholders if they so wish.

The board also stated they in the current financial climate they were reviewing the debenture loan interest rate with a decison being made by the end of the current financial year in April.

Chesterfield Chairman Barrie Hubbard and Spireites manager Lee Richardson then faced some serious questioning in perhaps an awkward session about the team and summer signings failing to produce some what so far this season.

Lee admitted that perhaps having older players on long contracts could have been a mistake. But he remained hopeful, and confident that the teams second half of the season will be much better setting a target of twelve wins and six draws, from the remainder of the season for the team to gain a play off berth.

Chairman Barrie Hubbard revealed that Sheffield United are paying Jamie Ward's transfer fee on a monthly basis with the first of five payments being made in February.Lee also confirmed that the Spireites paid £40,000 for Martin Gritton and he had been talking over the last couple of days to three or four other players. Summer trialist Crystal Palace goalkeeper Scott Flinders played for the reserves this week in a game against Nottingham Forest in which Derek Niven played for around half an hour.

Chairman Barrie Hubbard then read a prepared statement here to updated shareholders on the new stadium and Alan Stevenson quickly went through his exciting plans for the End Of Era celebrations. Chairman Barrie Hubbard then took a series of questions from the floor covering various aspects of the statement in which he revelled that there will be a perpetual football covenant on the new stadium and the club was talking to the rugby club with a view to sharing training facilities at the rugby clubs new ground.

The shareholders meeting closed at around 9.15pm
