Chesterfield shareholders are being updated with the latest position on the future plans for the football club at the club's AGM held at the Olde House, Newbold, this Thursday 22 January 2009, starting 7.30pm. 

The Report and Accounts for CFC 2001 Ltd for year ending 30 June 2008 is up for approval, whilst directors Mike Warner and Philip Taylor are seeking re-election. 

There will be an update on the End of an Era project, which is a celebration of 138 years at Saltergate, and the latest position concerning the development of the new stadium at Whittington Moor, with building work expected to start in the next couple of months.
