Chesterfield supporters can expect to be updated with the very latest position on the future plans for the football club at two annual general meetings, which are both being held next week.
First up is the AGM of the Chesterfield Football Supporters Society (CFSS) on Monday 19 January 2009, when CFSS members will be presented with the Supporters Trust's Report and Accounts for year ending 31 January 2008 for approval.
Members will also be able, amongst other things, to discuss the future of the CFSS shareholding in the football club and the proposed community facilities planned for the new stadium.
This is followed two days later on Thursday 22 January 2009 when the football club's own AGM takes place. The Report and Accounts for CFC 2001 Ltd for year ending 30 June 2008 will be presented to shareholders for their approval.
There will also be an update on the End of an Era project and the latest position concerning the development of the Spireites new stadium at Whittington Moor.
Both AGM's are being held at the Olde House, Newbold, Chesterfield, and start at 7.30pm.
