Defender Brendan Moloney's loan spell with Chesterfield is being extended until the end of the season after agreement was reached with his parent club Nottingham Forest. 

The Republic of Ireland U19 International joined the Spireites earlier this month, initially for one month's loan, and has so far played in all four games and scored a stunning goal against Hereford United.  

Final confirmation is expected later this week after all the paperwork has been finalised.
