SPIREITES GOLF TOURNAMENT

Chesterfield FC recently held its annual golf tournament at the Borough's picturesque Tapton Park when the club's business community partners, along with the management and players, raised over £1,100 for club funds.

Roy McFarland tees off

 

The winning team was CMC Aluminium Systems of Chesterfield, the area's leading company specialising in fabricating and installing leading makes of aluminium window and door systems for commercial and domestic projects.

The team of Howard Moore, Harvery Coward and David Pemberton, along with Spireites physio and FA Cup legend Jamie Hewitt, scored a very creditable 89 points.

Runners-up were Graysons Solicitors, sponsors of the Graysons Kop at Saltergate, with 87 points.
