21.10.2005 THE Centre of Excellence Squads played Lincoln on the 1st and 2nd of October, there were mixed results and performances over the weekend.

09.09.2005 THE Centre starts a full set of fixtures on Sunday 11th September against Rotherham,at Chesterfield Cylinders Sports ground. The 11s, 13s and under 15s squad will be up there this Sunday 11.00am kick off.

30.08.2005 THE under 16 squad has been in pre-season training since the beginning of July, we bring this squad in early to get them use to how hard pre season because, it can be a big shock to the system for those lucky enough to gain a modern apprenticeship

06.07.2005 YOUNGSTER Aaron Pride, from Chesterfield's Centre of Excellence, has been called up for trials by the Welsh FA for their Under 15 International side.

17.04.2005 The Centre of Excellence finishes the week ending the 17th April, the players will come back into training in August

11.03.2005 THE Centre players look forward to every game but the fixture they all look out for is the local derby against Mansfield. This fixture is on the week after the Lincoln games, it is amazing how the rivalry filters all the way from the first team right down to the Centres under 10 team
